We ship from different suppliers throughout the United States that have different shipping and return policies. Certain situations may vary, but we will always strive for your satisfaction as a company with integrity.
Be Sure To Seal Certain Tile
It is very important to seal all natural stone and crackle glazed tile. Tile4you recommends using a high-quality sealer like Stone Tech, Aqua Mix or Glaze-N-Seal. If you need any advice on how to do this process please call for expert advice.
We recommend getting a sample of the tile you’re considering to purchase before you ship the full order if possible. Samples are $6 per swatch and could be limited in the amount amount requested. Some of the tile samples requested could be very specialized and have a higher cost or our supplier may not offer sample swatches. If there is no option for a sample, please call us to see if we can possibly arrange a sample.
Shipping and Receiving
Why do I need to get a special freight quote?
To provide you with the best service and rates this must be done through an interview process. Every delivery is unique.
Most tile we supply has free shipping. On heavier products we charge for shipping. If you live in a hard to reach area, like a rural area or a military base, this could add to the freight cost. Delivery cost less to a business than to a residence. If you desire, we could arrange for a free dock pick up at our supplier’s warehouse.
All deliveries are curbside, you will be notified by the freight carrier the time window you will need to be at the delivery location. If there is no forklift at the delivery location, we will need to arrange a truck with a lift gate.
Most orders will ship within 1-5 days of purchase. We strive to expedite orders as fast as possible. Let us know if your project is time-sensitive, and we will do our best to get it shipped as fast as possible.
It is your responsibility and very important to inspect all boxes and material before accepting and signing the receipt from the freight carrier delivering your product. If the material looks questionable either reject the freight delivery or note on the receipt “possible damaged tile” get the driver’s name and notify us immediately so we can solve the problem.
We recommend getting a sample if possible of the tile you’re considering to purchase before you ship the entire order because tile and stone often vary in color. Some of the tile we provide is handmade we do not offer returns on handmade tile, be sure that you approve and understand your swatch sample and the overall finish before purchasing.
Be sure to inspect your material before installation. We will not accept for return any material that has been installed, tampered with, or not returned in original packaging.
Please let us know within 7 Days if you’re not satisfied with the tile you received. We will notify our supplier and set up a return authorization. If you need longer than 7 days please let us know so we can notify our suppliers of the situation. We will need your order number the reason why you’re returning the product The number sheets, square feet or pieces. We will not return tile after 30 days unless we are given written consent from the supplier providing the material. We are not responsible for shipping cost to return the material unless the material is defective. All orders are subject to a restocking fee, and this fee varies among suppliers. Generally, these restocking fees are between 25-35% of your order total. Your return will be processed within 10 days after receipt and inspection of the returned material.
